Looking for a unique or unusual gift?
We have four gift ideas for you to consider.
- A subscription to our Hive Set Up and Maintenance Service
If you are interested in giving the gift of honey bees, we will coordinate one year of our hive set up and maintenance service with your recipient. For details about the service Click Here. Recipients must live within our service area and be willing to sign a service agreement. A gift certificate and honey basket will be provided for presentation purposes.
This is a great gift which can be enjoyed throughout the entire year. Please contact us for details.
- Enrollment in our Beekeeping School
If you are interested in giving the gift of beekeeping, consider giving an enrollment in our beekeeping school. The beekeeping school consists of 13 workshops held over the course of the summer season at the John Jay Homestead State Historic Site located in Katonah, NY. For details about the school click here.
This is a great gift for someone who is interested in learning how to care for honey bees. The recipient does not have to have bees to be a part of the school. Please contact us for details.
- A Honey Gift Basket
We usually have enough extra honey that we can make up a gift basket of local honey. Although we do not stock varietal honey from other parts of the country, we do offer herb infused local honeys.
Gift baskets can be customized to meet your needs. Please contact us for details.
- Bee hive and Beekeeping Starter Kit
For those who would like a more elaborate gift we offer a full bee hive and beekeeping starter kit. This gift consists of a fully constructed bee hive, a protective hooded bee suit, a smoker, hive tools, bee brush, and instruction manual. The hive and kit make a great gift presentation.
This gift can be given in conjunction with an enrollment to our beekeeping school or a subscription to our hive set up and maintenance service. Please contact us for details.
